Main School Admissions

Applications are to be made please using the Monmouthshire County Council online application system.

The application process for main school Reception class for September 2024 will open on 6th November 2023. The closing date for applications is 9th January 2024 at 5pm. Nursery

A child can be admitted to our school nursery from the term following their third birthday, providing there are places available.  

As a Monmouthshire Local Authority maintained school nursery, children are required to attend five half-day sessions Monday to Friday and will be given either a morning or an afternoon place.

The online application process for nursery places in 2024 opens on 7th July 2023 and closes 15th September 2023 at 5pm. Parents/carers apply for the September 2024 intake. If their child is eligible for a rising 3 place in either January 2024 or April 2024 they can make the request on the same application form.

Parents will be notified of their nursery place for September 2024 and January 2024 on 10th November 2023, however, if they have applied for a rising 3 place to start in April 2024 they will be advised of that place on 6th March 2024.
